Agartala, May 03: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Wednesday urged the students and the youths of the stet to cooperate with the government in ending the drug menace. He said that the government is committed to end the menace. Dr. Saha was addressing an NSS sponsored seminar on ‘Nesha Mukt Tripura’. He said that the drug menace is an international conspiracy to destroy the youth generation of the North-East India.
‘Never like before the war against the drug menace in Tripura was commenced by the BJP government in Tripura soon after its establishment in the state,” he said, adding that the menace which already reached at its peak will be ended here in the state. He said, “The law enforcement AGS exiles were asked to deal with the root of the menace and bring an end to it.
Students and youths of this state need to identify the culprits for remedial action against them.” “I appeal to students of schools and colleges to identify those taking drugs and inform the authorities for taking remedial measures,” he said.
