Women’s T20 Asia cup final: India set target of 166 runs before Sri Lanka

In the final of Women’s T20 Asia Cup Cricket, India have set a target of 166 runs before hosts Sri Lanka in Dambulla. Electing to bat first, India scored 165 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana scored 60 off 47 balls, her 26th T20 fifty. Cameos from Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh also helped India to post a commendable target. 

In reply, Sri Lanka were 28 for 1 in 5 overs when reports last came in.
