IMD Warns of Continued Heatwave in Northwest India, Red Alert for Rajasthan
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heatwave conditions to continue over northwest India until on wednesday .Senior Scientist at IMD Dr Naresh Kumar said that the effect of the heat wave will be greater in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in the coming two days. He said that the effect of heat waves will be greater in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi today. Mr Kumar added that the temperature will fall from today. IMD has also issued a red alert for western Rajasthan on Wednesday.
