Rupee apppreciates by 33 paise to close at Rs 85.38 against US dollar

 In the Forex market, the rupee  on Friday appreciated by 33 paise to close at 85 rupees and 38 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 100.41 in intra-day trade.
