CM Manik Saha Launches ADB-Backed Roadmap to Boost Industrial Growth

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday unveiled a strategic framework titled “Strategic Approach to Industrial Development in Tripura”, prepared by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), at the Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT).

The document provides a comprehensive roadmap to revitalize the state’s industrial estates by addressing existing challenges, strengthening infrastructure, enhancing competitiveness, and creating an enabling environment for sustainable growth.

Officials said the strategy aims to integrate Tripura’s industries into regional and global value chains, accelerate economic development, and generate employment opportunities across the state.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Saha appreciated the contributions of ADB, led by Country Director Ms. Mio Oka, and all stakeholders involved in drafting the framework. He emphasized that the roadmap would be instrumental in attracting investment and fostering long-term industrial progress in Tripura.
