External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Thursday reiterated India’s firm stance against terrorism, stating that the country remains “strong and determined” to uphold a policy of zero tolerance.
Marking the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, Jaishankar said the operation reflected India’s resolve to defend itself against cross-border terrorism originating from Pakistan. He noted that the action demonstrated India’s commitment to ensuring accountability for terrorist activities and sending a clear message that threats to peace and security will be decisively countered.
The minister added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India continues to maintain a strong and uncompromising approach towards terrorism.
