Mizoram Marks 40th Peace Accord Day; CM Calls for Unity and Continued Harmony

Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma on the occasion of the 40th Peace Accord Day highlighted the state’s steady progress under decades of peace and stability, urging citizens to work together to preserve harmony and support continued development.

In his message, the Chief Minister said that lasting peace has been the foundation of Mizoram’s growth, noting that the state has emerged as one of the more developed regions in the country and is increasingly gaining recognition as a tourist destination. He emphasized that peace and stability remain essential for sustained socio-economic development.

Governor Gen. (Retd.) Vijay Kumar Singh also underscored the significance of Mizoram’s peaceful environment, stating that the state’s stability is a matter of pride and serves as a positive model for the rest of the country.
