The Eastern Air Command of the Indian Air Force (IAF) organised its first-ever full-scale air show in Guwahati on Sunday to mark the 93rd anniversary of the Air Force. The event showcased over 75 aircraft, including planes and helicopters, performing in more than 25 formations above Lachit Ghat on the banks of the Brahmaputra River.
This year’s Air Force Day celebrations carry the theme “Infallible, Impervious and Precise”, reflecting the IAF’s commitment to operational capability, resilience, and precision. The event was attended by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, along with senior officials and dignitaries.
