BCCI Announces India Women’s Squads for Australia Tour

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India Women’s squads for the upcoming tour of Australia, scheduled to take place in February and March.

Batter Bharti Fulmali has earned her maiden international call-up after being included in the T20 International squad. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the Indian side in both the T20I and ODI series, while Smriti Mandhana has been named vice-captain.

India, who are the defending champions of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, will play a total of six matches on the tour, comprising three T20 Internationals followed by three One Day Internationals.

The T20I series will begin on 15 February at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The second match will be played on 19 February at Manuka Oval in Canberra, while the third and final T20I is scheduled for 21 February at the Adelaide Oval.

The ODI series will get underway on 24 February at AB Field in Brisbane. The remaining two ODIs will be played at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on 27 February and 1 March respectively.
