Vice President Visits Tripura Sundari Temple, Prays for Nation’s Peace and Prosperity

Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan on Sunday visited the revered Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people of the country.

During his visit to the historic shrine—one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas and a prominent pilgrimage site in the Northeast—the Vice President performed traditional rituals and spent time at the temple premises. He was warmly received by devotees and temple authorities.

The Vice President was accompanied by the Governor of Tripura, Nallu Indrasena Reddy, and the state’s Finance Minister, Pranajit Singha Roy, who also offered prayers at the temple.

Elaborate security arrangements were put in place around the temple to ensure smooth movement and maintain safety during the high-profile visit. The visit underscores the spiritual importance of the Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the most significant religious landmarks in the state that attracts thousands of devotees each year.
