The seventh session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly resumed today, Monday, after being adjourned sine die on February 5. Scheduled to continue until March 17, the session will see key legislative business, including discussions on the Governor’s Address delivered earlier this year.
The Assembly is also set to table the Supplementary Demand for Grants for 2026‑27 and consider budget estimates for the upcoming fiscal year. Additionally, the House will pay obituary references to departed leaders, including former legislators and notable public figures.
The session is expected to cover debates, questions, and bills over its seven scheduled sittings, marking an important phase in Manipur’s legislative calendar.
