Police Recover ₹20 Lakh Gold, Arrest Two in Agartala Theft Case

Agartala police have recovered stolen gold ornaments worth nearly ₹20 lakh and arrested two individuals in connection with a theft reported from the Sarkar Nursing Home area.

According to police, the incident took place on Friday evening when a bag containing gold ornaments was allegedly stolen from an auto-rickshaw in the locality. Following the complaint, West Agartala Police launched a swift investigation and tracked down the accused within a short period of time.

Officials confirmed that both suspects were apprehended and the stolen ornaments were successfully recovered during the operation.

SDPO Debaprasad Roy said that the quick resolution of the case was possible due to prompt action and coordinated efforts by the police team. He also appreciated the efficiency of West Police Station personnel in cracking the case swiftly.
