Meghalaya to Launch Chief Minister’s Football Fan-Park in Shillong for FIFA World Cup 2026
The Government of Meghalaya is set to inaugurate the Chief Minister’s Football Fan-Park in Shillong on June 26, ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The fan park will be located at the S.R.G.T Parking Lot in Polo, Shillong.
Designed to bring football fans together, the venue will offer a shared public viewing experience where matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be screened live on a large screen in a festive atmosphere.
The initiative aims to strengthen the football culture in the state by providing enthusiasts with a communal space to enjoy the tournament, reflecting Meghalaya’s growing passion for the sport.
