Over 4 thousand 700 candidates have filed more than 5,700 nominations in all 119 constituencies in the state. Meanwhile, vigorous campaigning resumed after Deepavali festival with top leaders of major parties canvassing for their candidates.
In Chhattisgarh, the election campaign for the second phase of assembly elections is in the final stages. Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi yesterday addressed election rallies in Mungeli and Mahasamund.
