Henry Kissinger, former United States Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize winner, passed away

Henry Kissinger, former United States Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize winner, died aged 100 yesterday at his home in Connecticut. He worked under two presidents, and left an indelible mark on US foreign policy.

Kissinger had been active past his centenary in May this year, attending meetings in the White House, publishing a book on leadership styles, and testifying before a Senate committee about the nuclear threat posed by North Korea.
