BJP hit out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his allegations against it for trying to lure AAP MLAs. Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla accused Mr Kejriwal of running away when the Delhi Police arrived at his residence for evidence. He said, Mr Kejrwal should have submitted the evidence to the Delhi Police or other agency to prove his charges but he did not do anything.
Mr. Poonawalla said, it was the BJP delegation who met Delhi Police and demanded an inquiry into the allegations. He said, the BJP does the politics of morality. He also said that in the Excise policy case, the Enforcement Directorate issued summons five times to the Delhi Chief Minister but so far he has not appeared before it.
