Delhi-NCR Air Quality Drops to ‘Severe’ Category
The air quality in the national capital Delhi was in the severe category this morning. The Central Pollution Control Board said, the Air Quality Index was recorded 421 at 7 AM today. In the adjoining cities, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram the air quality is in very poor category today morning.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours over the next two days.
