Police arrests 4 thieves
Police personnel of East Agartala Police Station on Saturday arrested four thieves from different areas and recovered stolen items.
Officer in-charge of East Agartala Police Station Rana Chatterjee informed a case FIR was registered on the basis of complaint received from SKB Jewellery. As per the complaint police personnel from East Agartala Police Station took decisive action and arrested the four thieves from different areas and recovered stolen items, the police officer added.
The arrested thief has been identified as Babul Dutta, Uttam Sarkar, Joynal Hussain Abhoynagar and Mithun Madraji. All the arrested thieves were involved in several other thefts. They will be produced before the court on Saturday, the officer added.
