Manipur: Combined team of security forces recovers arms and ammunition during search operations in Bishnupur

In Manipur, a combined team of security forces recovered arms and ammunition during search operations conducted in Bishnupur district on Saturday.

The Police report said that a team of Army, CRPF, and Manipur Police cordoned off and conducted a search operation in Uyum Makhong Village under Moirang Police Station of Bishnupur district this morning. During the operation, the team recovered one SLR rifle, one carbine, four Hand Grenade, one Smoke bomb, one WP Smoke bomb, and two Para bombs.

No arrest had been made during the operation. Police have filed an FIR and an investigation is going on.
